“On October 4, 2016, McGonigal was appointed “Special Agent in Charge of the Counterintelligence Division for the New York Field Office” by James B. Comey. McGonigal was an expert on Russian intelligence activities targeting the United States, as well as U.S. efforts to recruit Russian spies.”
This was after the Trump – Netanyahu meeting on September 26, 2016, following the publication of the article citing the information from his 15 y.o. “sexting partner” on September 21, 2016, which opened the road to the October Surprise 2016, which was the subject and the part of the bargain between Trump and Netanyahu.
A number of questions arise in this regard, and the information from McGonigal on this subject would be quite valuable.
It is much more here than meets the eye, and certainly much more than just working for Deripaska.
