NYC tackles scaffolding scourge with bills to speed up their removal — and offer colors besides ‘ugly hunter green’

The New York City Council introduced a spate of new laws Wednesday aimed at finally cracking down on the thousands of unsightly scaffolding structures and sidewalk sheds currently plaguing the Big Apple’s streets.
