Jamaysha Butler, 28, fled to a car during the arrest, causing the officer to fall and hit his head on the pavement. Butler faces charges of intoxication, assault, and evading detention. Melissa Bell, 22, was also arrested and charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, interference with public duties, and assault on a peace officer. The officer remains hospitalized in stable but serious condition.
